ADULT CLASS: Stories from
Genesis and Exodus
Sundays, 9:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
Come learn about your faith family tree. Genesis contains stories of our early ancestors in faith, including Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his brothers. Exodus tells the story of God’s remarkable saving act, rescuing the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Join us to read selected passages, learn of our ancestors in faith, and relate these stories to our lives today. Childcare is provided via our wonderful children’s Sunday School. We’ll put the coffee on for you!

May 4: Exodus 14—Crossing the Red Sea/Sea of Reeds

May 11: Exodus 19-20―Covenant at Mount Sinai

May 18: Special guest Shuli Rutzick of Congregation Beth Israel will share a Jewish perspective on these scriptures and the life of faith―bring your questions

May 25: Study continues, including Walking the Bible videos of the Holy Land
