Come to an Inquirers’ Lunch on May 18
If you are considering joining First Immanuel, we warmly invite you to attend an Inquirers’ Luncheon, after church on Sunday, May 18.
A light lunch will be served in the Sodergren Hall parish building and we’ll share information about First Immanuel, the Lutheran tradition, and the place of Christian community in the life of faith. It’s a great opportunity to get to know us better and to explore the possibility of joining the congregation.

We plan to receive new members on a date convenient for those involved. We become members of God’s church through receiving Baptism or affirming our Baptism―saying “yes” to the God who claims us in Christ and loves us unconditionally. When we join a particular congregation, we publicly affirm our Christian faith and declare this community of faith to be our spiritual home. We welcome you!
