Keep Choice on the Shelf 25,000 pounds of food + $75,000September is Hunger Action Month, and this year it arrives while the landscape around food access is shifting.
SNAP is becoming harder to navigate for some households, grocery costs remain high, and the same household budget still has to cover rent, utilities, medication, transportation, and everything else a month requires. A change in one place rarely stays there for long. Eventually, it can show up in the grocery cart.
Food donations help keep more variety available. Financial contributions give Lift UP more flexibility to purchase what is missing.

Sunday School starts on Rally Day!
Sunday, Sept. 13
Join us on Sept. 13 for Rally Day!
Sunday School will kick off for our kids and youth at 10 AM with "welcome back" games and activities. The Adult Forum will meet briefly (10-10:30 AM) to discuss possible study topics for the coming year. Choir will warm up before worship at 10:30 AM.
And everyone is invited to a Picnic and Games after church, hosted by the Congregational Life Team. Hot dogs, buns, condiments, and drinks will be provided. Please bring your favorite salad, side dish, or dessert to share—or just come as you are and enjoy the food and company!

Join the End-of-Summer Choir this Sunday
Calling all choir members and choir wannabes! It's almost time for our end-of summer choir. If you’d like to sing the anthem on Sunday, September 6, just come to the sanctuary at 10:30 AM to learn the easy song with choir director Ralph Nelson. This is a great way to join with other singers in church!
Rehearsals resume on Wednesday, Sept. 9:
Bells at 6 PM, Choir at 7 PM
